Q. I read that the SW200 and SW700 are the most accurate pedometers - is that true?
A. Yes and No! The Yamax brand of pendulum pedometers are the most accurate when compared to other pendulum pedometers. However, in the last few years, technology has moved forward and now 2D and 3D accelerometer pedometers are by far the most accurate and flexible pedometers for every day use.

Q. Where can I wear the Yamax SW200 pedometer?
A. The Digiwalker SW200 is designed for the waist band only. It’s very important to get an accurate step count, that it be placed on the hip in line with the knee and remain horizontal at all times. And it must be shut!

Q. What other pedometer would you recommend with similar accuracy and features?
A. The G-Sensor 2025 accelerometer pedometer is a step only pedometer and is certainly on par if not better then the Yamax Digiwalker SW200, for no other reason then being a 2D accelerometer waist pedometer.
